In 2019 I went and completed a Diploma in sourdough with Dr Vanessa Kimbell (specialist is Gut Health, with a Doctorate in Nutrition and Digestibility in Bread). Her sourdough has a strong focus on increasingly the diversity of your gut microbiome and I learnt how to not only make sourdough that is was delicious and but that is also quick and can fit into your day to day life.
Come and learn how to get a gut diverse, incredibly nutritious loaf of sourdough made whilst I talk through the principles of gut health and basic sourdough making.
What to expect - You will leave with a pot of starter and loaf to take home (if you can bring your own loaf tin) and a print out.
Please note - this isn’t a course for professional bakers, this is for home cooks wanting to make sourdough for every day eating in a loaf tin - not the classic boule.
